Good evening !
Today, after a longer break I post a portrait of a girl 🙂 The drawing was very nice.
Maybe because the person is nice – I wonder if that has an impact. Actually, little princesses are nice to draw, too – you know, kids are too cute and, more importantly, very honest. That’s a thought
I need to get going on two of these “nightmares” 🙂
Back to the drawing. I learned a lot from it. Shading from the hardest pencil to the softest, without taking shortcuts – seriously. This is probably how you get the best shading. Unfortunately, the real effects of this, you will see in a few works – first in a portrait of a girl / woman (but only a little). Next up in the witcher drawing (there should be a noticeable change for the better here). In order for the star of this drawing not to be disadvantaged, I need to talk her into another drawing. So keep your fingers crossed and maybe it will work 🙂
One last point. I’m constantly working on something bigger – hence my big backlog. As soon as it takes real shapes I will write about it for sure 🙂 I will not promise that every month something will appear, although it is my evil plan 🙂
To make a drawing I used pencils with hardness 8B-2H, and the whole thing is posted on the paper with a weight of 120g/m2 (56 lbs) A4 format.
Biggest problems in drawing – honestly? I don’t remember, it was too much fun 😉
Drawing made on the basis of a sent photo.
The drawing also available in gallery 2021 (Portraits / Copies of photos )
